Customs clearing is the process of lodging your shipment with ZIMRA, paying the correct duty and VAT, and obtaining release so your cargo can leave the port or border post. Without it, your goods cannot legally enter Zimbabwe.

You typically need a commercial invoice, bill of lading or airway bill, packing list, import licence or permit where applicable, and your tax clearance or company registration. For returning residents, passport and proof of previous residence abroad are also required.

Most general cargo clears within 3–7 working days once documents and freight are in order. Personal effects and household goods for returning residents usually take 5–10 working days. Vehicle clearance may take longer depending on inspections and ZIMRA scheduling.

Yes. We handle hazardous, perishable, over-dimensional and heavy-lift cargo, including permits, packaging, palletization and warehousing where needed.

Zimbabwean citizens or permanent residents returning after an extended stay abroad may claim a rebate on personal effects, household goods and one qualifying vehicle, subject to ZIMRA rules and proof of residence outside Zimbabwe.
